Βρισκόμαστε σε ενδημική φάση της γρίπης που οφείλεται στον ιό H1N1
Και καλό θα ήταν να έχουμε υπόψη τα ακόλουθα:
- η προφύλαξη επιτυγχάνεται με τον εμβολιασμό, οποίος θα έπρεπε να είχε γίνει τους μήνες του Φθινοπώρου (όπως πρέπει κάθε χρόνο) και αφορά κατά κύριο λόγο τους ηλικιωμένους, πάσχοντες από χρόνια νοσήματα καθώς επίσης και τους εργαζόμενους στις δομές υγείας.
- Για τον υπόλοιπο πληθυσμό η προφύλαξη συνίσταται στο να αερίζονται επαρκώς οι χώροι όπου συνυπάρχουν πολλά άτομα, τακτικό πλύσιμο των χεριών, αποφυγή προσέλευσης στην εργασία ή το σχολείο ατόμων που έχουν πυρετό και τέλος καλό θα ήταν κάποιος που φτερνίζεται ή βήχει να τοποθετεί την παλάμη ή τον βραχίονα του χεριού του μπροστά στο στόμα.
- Όταν κάποιος προσβληθεί από τη συγκεκριμένη λοίμωξη θα πρέπει να επικοινωνήσει άμεσα με τον γιατρό του.
