Μια ακόμα επιτυχημένη αιμοδοσία πραγματοποιήθηκε τη Δευτέρα 28 Απριλίου 2020, η τέταρτη μέσα σε ένα μήνα με οργάνωση ή συμμετοχή του Δήμου Κηφισιάς.
Στην Εθελοντική Αιμοδοσία που διοργάνωσε η Κοινωνική Μέριμνα του Δήμου Κηφισιάς (η δεύτερη μέσα στο μήνα), σε συνεργασία με το Λαϊκό Νοσοκομείο, συμμετείχαν εθελοντές αιμοδότες πολίτες κι υπάλληλοι του Δήμου Κηφισιάς καθώς και η ομάδα του Πανερυθραϊκού, ανταποκρινόμενοι στις εκκλήσεις του ιατρικού κόσμου για άμεση αύξηση των αποθεμάτων αίματος, τα οποία λιγοστεύουν δραματικά λόγω της πανδημίας του κορονοϊού.
Ο Δήμαρχος Γιώργος Θωμάκος ευχαριστεί τους 47 αιμοδότες που προσήλθαν στην εθελοντική αιμοδοσία (συλλέχθηκαν 42 μονάδες αίματος), την ομάδα του Πανερυθραϊκού, τους εργαζόμενους στην Κοινωνική Μέριμνα, τους ιατρούς του Λαϊκού Νοσοκομείου και την πρόεδρο του ΝΠΔΔ «Κοινωνική Μέριμνα» Κατερίνα Καραλή για την οργάνωση της αιμοδοσίας.
Η αιμοδοσία έγινε με τήρηση των κανόνων και των πρωτοκόλλων για την προστασία από την εξάπλωση του κορονοϊού COVID-19. Είχαν ληφθεί όλα τα προβλεπόμενα και επιβεβλημένα μέτρα για την ασφάλεια και προστασία των αιμοδοτών και όλων των εμπλεκόμενων στελεχών.
